Automated Clearing House (ACH)
is an electronic funds-transfer system ran by National Automated Clearing House Association (NACHA). The payment system is for direct deposit, tax refunds, bills, different forms of payments, payroll, etc. within the United States. With transactions they can be a debit or credit.
Courtesy Pay
Courtesy Pay is an added elected service that gives additional protection to your share draft (checking) account. Insufficient funds items are covered up to a certain dollar limit, for a fee. Tri Boro’s Fee is $25.00

Direct Deposit
Direct Deposit your Payroll, retirement, and government funds automatically without coming to the credit union to deposit your check. A direct deposit is an electronic direct transfer of your check/funds. To sign up for direct deposit, give your employer information about your credit union account.

Overdraft Protection
Overdraft protection is an option whereby we transfer available funds from your share savings account to prevent check, ATM, or debit card transactions, etc. from causing your account balance to fall below zero, and prevent a fee assessed to your account.
Wire Transfers
A wire transfer is when money is transferred electronically from one financial institution to another. Wires can be done in person at a branch location or by fax. If done by fax, a phone call verification is done. (The phone number must match what’s on your account.) Funds can be wired in or out of Tri Boro for a fee. Please see fee schedule.
